Outdoor Source For Women was founded by Deana Frank in 1997 and is based out of Vancouver, BC Canada.
Outdoor Source is dedicated to providing adventure and travel packages throughout North America to active women of all ages and delivers the highest of quality outdoor trips.
Outdoor Source For Women seeks to reward this dedication with an arrangement of trips specifically designed for like minded women. These women are adventurous, health conscious and have a never ending passion to welcome new challenges.
They want a unique active experience whether on their own or in a group setting that will provide solitude for a reflective connection to the beauty that surrounds them.
About Deana
Deana has been an outdoor adventurist for as long as she can remember climbing her first tree.
She attended Mount Royal College in Calgary to study business and outdoor administration. During this time she experienced the outdoors like no other and is grateful to her leaders that had inspired her to further pursue a career in outdoor tourism.
As an up and coming business women she designed her first business plan that landed a provincial govt. grant for young entrepreneurs of Alberta.
Having grown up on the West Coast of British Columbia she felt it vital to pursue her business plan on more familiar ground and moved back to Vancouver where she currently resides.
Deana is passionate about the outdoors and is astounded by the many illustrations of nature that relate to her own life and inner source. By virtue of this recognition she continues to voice to bear the importance of treading lightly on our planet and respecting all living things big and small as equals.
